How It Works
In order to maintain continuity in your quality service, clients are matched with a regular housekeeper based on need and schedule. The number of hours required per visit is dependent upon square footage, condition of home, and budget. For a top-down clean every visit we recommend 2 hours per 800-1000 sq. ft. of home. Our rates are $40 an hour per housekeeper (most homes only need one housekeeper) and we have a 2-hour minimum. Service is available on a weekly, every other week, or monthly basis.
Payment is due to your housekeeper at time of service, via provided payment envelope. We accept cash or checks payable to: The Tidy Sister. Late payments and/or return check charges are $40. Please make payment arrangements if you will not be present at the time of cleaning. There is a $40 charge for canceled/rescheduled appointments, unless notification is made at least 48 hours in advance.

We DO NOT use bleach.
Your own products can also be used, just let your housekeeper know (The Tidy Sister is not responsible for any damages caused by client-provided products). Additionally, our vacuums are used in homes with animals. If this presents an allergy issue, please let the housekeeper know to use your vacuum.
Housekeepers DO NOT clean outside (including outside of windows), window blinds, shampoo carpets, or buff & wax floors. The Tidy Sister is not responsible for damages caused by dishwasher, or laundry machines (including, but not limited to, melted plastics, broken glass, shrunken clothing, or colors run). If someone in your household has a communicable illness of any kind (MRSA, scabies, head lice, strep, e-coli, etc), please let your housekeeper know so proper precautions are taken.
